First, we need an Easter Basket!
If you are on a budget, ANY old basket lying around will work. If it’s a wooden basket, I generally like to add a liner to the basket so there’s no chance of splinters. Here’s a link to my favorite shop on Etsy that does personalized liners.
If you’d like to purchase a new basket, Pottery Barn Kids has super sturdy ones that will last years. I have also previously purchased baskets at Michaels or any sort of fabric/home goods store for much cheaper, but they only last about a year or two.
Here are my Pottery Barn favorites:
The soft baskets are great for younger kids up to 3 years old. I suggest buying the “small” size in the wooden baskets at Pottery Barn Kids for toddlers, the large size is a bit big for their little hands to hold. It’s cute for newborn pictures though because your baby can literally fit inside of it!

Sensory Kits
My kids LOVE these, especially when they include play dough. They are good for learning motor skills, and they provide hands on playing that engages the senses. Here’s a couple of my fave:
Stuffed Animals
I know as a parent you probably have an ever increasing supply of stuffed animals in your house. I rarely buy stuffed animals for my kids because it , but it’s such a cute basket stuffer sometimes I can’t resist. My favorite brand is Jellycat.
Spring/Easter Pajamas
I love getting seasonal pajamas. I know it’s so impractical, but I can’t resist. My favorite are Burt’s Bees. They have the cutest patterns and they are organic!
Egg Sidewalk Chalk
My kids break the classic kind in a matter of seconds (sometimes on accident, but mostly on purpose). I love this chalk because it is indestructible. My kids can throw it against the concrete and it doesn’t shatter into a million pieces. It’s amazing.
Personalized Name Puzzle
I love name puzzles because they are functional and help your toddler learn how to spell their name.
Spring or Easter Themed Book
This is an easy, obvious stuffer. I like to buy books that go along with the theme. I’ll buy an Easter book telling the true story of Easter and teach my kids about Jesus’ resurrection, and I will also buy a cute spring time book to teach them about the seasonal change.
Personalized Hats or Sweaters
I just came across the cutest shop on Instagram named Aspen and Company. They make the most adorable personalized hats. (Use code thejordanfam for 15% your purchase!) I also will linked a couple of small shops below on Etsy that make really cute personalized sweaters for kids.
Well that is all! These are my top unique Easter basket gifts for toddler boys. I love shopping for my kids for holidays, but I know sometimes when life gets busy it can get overwhelming. I hope this guide helps your shopping to be quick and easy!
